This is to relieve congestion for cyclists and road safety. All riders must be finished by 1.45pm, as presentations will commence at 2.00pm.
Riders will need to organize their own transport to Many Peaks and home from Yarwun. However, there will be a bus to take riders and their bikes out to Many Peaks for the start, and then back to Gladstone at the end of the ride, with a small cost of $5/passenger. The bus meeting point is at BUNNINGS CARPARK AT 6.00AM. These must be pre-arranged for numbers.
Breakfast available provided by Boyne Valley Lions Club
$12 – full brekky, tea/coffee
$5 – toast, tea/coffee
Gold coin donation – tea/coffee
Vehicles with warning lights and trailers will provide on-road support for riders as they set their own pace along sealed bitumen roads throughout their ride of discovery through farming communities and across sparkling fresh water creeks. Lunch and drinks will also be provided for riders along the way.
The event manager reserves the right to postpone the ride in the event of unfavorable weather conditions.
